Raisa from Moldova is dependent on the help of others. The services of a home care centre are a relief for her

Rural regions in Moldova are often home to lonely seniors. Young people often move abroad for job opportunities, leaving behind relatives who are unable or unwilling to leave. Caritas Czech Republic has been helping from the very beginning.  Initially, we focused on the most urgent needs, such as delivering humanitarian aid and helping refugees. Thanks to the generosity of our donors who have contributed to the Caritas for Ukraine collection, we can help war-affected people.
