In Moldova, there is a clear need for the development of social and mental health services to provide proper support and care. Peer supporters are people with personal life experience in mental health who use their own experience to support others with similar conditions. With the support of Caritas Czech Republic, several recovered people have been trained for the role of peer supporter. We spoke to Inga Cociorva, whose own recovery experience led her to become a peer supporter.

A kindergarten in northern Moldova will use rainwater for household needs with the support of Caritas Czech Republic

Caritas Czech Republic has taken a step towards improving the sustainability and efficiency of water resource usage by introducing an innovative initiative to use rainwater as an alternative water source in Moldova. Throughout the year 2024, a rainwater capture, filtration, and storage system for household use will be constructed in the Albinuța kindergarten in the village of Bilicenii Vechi, Sîngerei district, with the involvement of Czech and national experts.
